Paneles rápidos

3 features
  • Search Places

Converts a place name into a centered map view via geocoding; requires a geocoding service.

  • Color Bar, Legend and Map Tools

Explains map values with a color bar and legend, measures lengths and areas, saves bookmarks, and shows camera status.

  • Field Collection

Creates georeferenced observations, tracks, and audiovisual material through field collection, GPS tracking, and recording. Field Collection sessions can be reopened for their named target and ended without deleting saved project data.

Seguimiento GPS

3 features
  • Start/Stop Tracking

Controls GPS tracking with start/stop, pause/resume, follow location, point capture, and point logging.

  • Tracking filters

Gates track logging and point capture by minimum distance, time interval and accuracy.

  • Save Track

Saves or discards the recorded track, or exports it as GeoJSON or GPX.

Menú contextual del mapa

4 features
  • What's Here?

Retrieves Wikipedia information for the selected point when available, adding geographic context.

  • Copy GeoJSON

Copies the feature as GeoJSON and centers or zooms the map on the selected location.

  • Quick Analysis

Generates scale-based buffers and 5, 10, or 15 minute drive/walk isochrones; isochrones require a routing service.

  • View in Google Maps / Google Earth

Opens Google Maps or Google Earth at the current position and scale in an external service.

Controles de mapa

15 features
  • Navigation

Zooms, pans, and tilts the view to inspect layers at different scales and angles.

  • Full Screen

Expands the map canvas to full screen for distraction-free comparison and more display area.

  • Compass

Displays current north orientation and resets it with one click to interpret headings and rotated layers correctly.

  • Geolocation

Centers the map on your current location to place an observation or start fieldwork. Requires location permission.

  • Globe

Toggles a global perspective to assess extensive layers, long routes, and planetary context.

  • Terrain

Toggle terrain relief, set vertical exaggeration, and use a local or HTTP single-band EPSG:3857/EPSG:4326 elevation COG via the double-click dialog.

  • Scale Bar

Shows a distance reference bar for estimating feature sizes and measuring context visually.

  • Attribution

Exposes provenance and usage terms of basemaps and data layers to maintain cartographic traceability.

  • Logos

Shows or hides platform and basemap provider branding; provider logos appear only when using their basemaps.

  • Atmospheric Effects

Adds atmosphere to the globe to improve spatial readability; configured in Controls. Globe only.

  • Weather

Overlays cloud and precipitation frames with playback controls and a date-time slider when multiple frames exist.

  • Rotate Globe

Rotates the globe automatically, unlocking map bounds when they block the motion.

  • Grid Graticule

Overlays reference coordinates on the map for visual orientation and measurement; enabled from Controls.

  • Directions and Reverse Geocoding

Computes routes between points and resolves coordinates to place names. Depends on provider and network.

  • Solar Simulation, Route Animation and Flight Simulator

Simulates solar shadows, animates routes, and flies through 3D terrain for analysis and presentation.

  • Identify visible layers

    client-side

Query every visible, queryable vector, DuckDB, WMS, NetCDF, time-series, and COG layer from one map click; results are grouped in an anchored popup with feature selection and pixel values.

GPS

3 features
  • External GPS Receivers

    client-side

Connect external GPS receivers over serial port or Bluetooth NMEA instead of the device's built-in location.

  • Track Export GPX/GeoJSON

    client-side

Export a recorded GPS track as GPX or GeoJSON, or save it directly as a map layer.

  • GPS Point Capture

    client-side

Capture point features at your current location, blocked whenever the fix accuracy misses your quality threshold.
