Meratyn deploys Meratyn’s browser build as Docker containers on its own infrastructure. Desktop and mobile builds are produced locally from this repository.

Desktop builds (local)

From a checkout you can build:

  • Unsigned Windows/macOS/Linux installers with bun run tauri:build -- --no-sign
  • A sideload MSIX with bun run msix:build
  • A Windows portable zip with bun run portable:build

The desktop app also ships a guided update workflow with a startup update check. See Features for platform details.

Run from source during development

Web

bun install
bun run dev

Open https://mappview.mapptech.com.co.

For a production-style local bundle:

bun run build
bunx --no-install vite preview --config apps/mappview/vite.config.ts

Desktop

bun install
bun run tauri:dev

Create unsigned local installers with:

bun run tauri:build -- --no-sign

Artifacts are written below apps/mappview/src-tauri/target/release/bundle/. The desktop, Android, iOS, Linux metadata, and MSIX package identities use the Meratyn namespace: com.mapptech.mappview or Meratyn.Meratyn, as required by each platform.

Container

docker build -t mapptech/mappview:local .
docker run --rm -p 8080:80 mapptech/mappview:local

Open https://mappview.mapptech.com.co.

Mobile

Android and iOS builds are produced locally. Follow the Android and iOS setup guides.
